At least 75% of the upper is made from recycled material to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The upper also includes reflective details to improve visibility in low-light conditions. The midsole has the most cushioning of all shoes in this series so far.
Due to the FF BLAST PLUS ECO technology, the cushioning in this shoe is lighter and softer with less impact on the environment. This material also gives more response when pushing off. The GEL cushioning is no longer visible from the outside, but is now incorporated in the midsole.
PureGEL technology is used in the heel for lightweight cushioning and a softer landing. Inside the shoe is an OrthoLite X-55 sockliner that provides soft step-in comfort. The ASICS LITE rubber outsole is lightweight and offers good grip.
It is also very durable thanks to AHAR rubber (Asics High Abrasion Rubber) which is applied in parts of the sole.
